A. Besides Yahoo, Google and MSN you can try Facebook - it allows you to upload images to your ad. So far it costs relatively less expensive than Google and Yahoo and has some good effects

Is there a way to find out what a company spends on pay per click and what keywords a company bids on?
Q. Is there a tool or technique to research what keywords a company is bidding on for pay per click (PPC) marketing, aka CPC marketing aka search engine marketing (SEM)? I am trying to research where - and on what terms - a company is using their online advertising dollars and any tips or suggestions would be great. Thank you.

A. Yes, you can ask really nicely. If you have no morals you can spend some time doing impression fraud (refreshing a SERP that shows their ad) until their ad no longer shows, and then try the same thing on your own account with the same word, varying your daily budget until your ad dissappears in roughly the same amount of impressions theirs did. That will give you a very rough idea of their daily budget providing you can estimate their CTR (because AdWords will stop showing an ad when it thinks the number of impressions for this day is going to mean your ad will get clicked on too many times). The only way to discover what keywords they're bidding on is to thoroughly research the market (something I will assume you've already done if they… [cont.]

A. They don't actually charge a company per se every time someone clicks an add. It just keeps track of how many times an add is clicked and then a bill is sent to the company with the advertisement. The fee per click is agree upon prior to the add being set up.

Q. I am interested in adding pay per click to my website. But the only problem is how do I do it? I do not want to add google adwords. I want to add my own system, I'm just wondering is their certain merchants that offer pay per click, does this have to be done by a programmer? A. The answer is yes. Pay per click on any banner or Advertising on your site can be done, but your site should have first a programming language enabled like asp, or asp.net or PHP, with Database like msaccess or MYSQL or MSQL. You choose between windows hosting or Linux hosting which you have enabled on your site, then you will have to make the program it s pretty much simple. I did one on asp and MSSQL, on each click the program should take from the client money to your account that doesn t mean always making a transaction. The user has to recharge his account and put limit per month like Google or yahoo. And to make a secure program with money payment and products you need programmer or you need to make researches on the net and try… [cont.]

Do we need a "PERSONAL WEBSITE" to start pay per click advertising campaign?
Q. I don't quite understand the pay per click advertising process. I understand how it works but how can I personally get started? If I make an account on Google ad words do I need a legit business? I don't own a business or any website.

A. Hi, well, you need a purpose for your pay per click adwords campaigns... you can join as a free member on clickbank and promote other products to make money as an affiliate, which would give you a purpose for using adwords aside from not owning a business or website, but you would need a domain name at the minimum, and you have to be careful about redirecting your ads to content that matches your keywords...at least create a small webpage with some information related to your ads, read this site there's some cool videos about that here:

Why is pay per click good?
Q. I heard that Pay per click is really good, but it sounds really bad. You have to pay 10c per click, and say you had 5000 clicks, you would have to pay $5000. How is that good? So my question is, what is so good about pay per click?
Asked by Jack W - Sun Sep 7 07:12:04 2008 - - 2 Answers - 1 Comments

A. You establish a maximum budget for the month. Mine is $30, so once I reach the $30 my link doesn't appear any more that month. It's definitely worth the $30 for what I sell, because I don't have a lot of competition my ad appears often.

Q. Hi, I am looking to find out what the pay per click pricing averages are based on particular industries. For example, how much does a click cost for an advertiser say in the tech industry, or sports, or entertainment for example. I am having trouble finding much relevant info about this and would appreciate if you can tell me or point me in the right direction. Thanks! Perhaps you can share how much you were paying per click and what industry your website is a part of? That would be helpful. Thanks.

A. The price range for a click ranges drastically by industry and keyword, there is no easy answer. From experience, I can tell you our average cost-per-click (CPC) across our clients ranges from $.50 to $1.50, although some industry research has shown a much higher average. There are a few great resources out there that can help you find what you're looking for: and a few interesting articles: I hope this helps, good luck!

A. There are too many that are scams and never will pay you. People think they're in the advertising business, but they're really in the business of selling or renting referrals and getting upgrades. Even Neobux who has paid me hundreds of dollars follows the same business model, but they at least have instant payments.

A. There are many opportunities of working at home and earning through internet. If you wish to learn earning through internet while working at home, feel free to add me as your contact at yahoo answers and at 360 also. You will learn a lot. It is against yahoo answers guidelines to provide referral links here at YA. Most of the genuine earning opportunities on the net are free and they don't ask for any money to be paid for that.
