Why does my orbit downloader timeout the whole time then say download broken?
Q. I don't stop the video.It plays but after but as soon as orbit downloader adds it the timeout counter stats counting down and as soon as it gets to 0 it says download broken!!!

A. Well, this could be explained with multiple reasons, 1. Your network is blocking you 2. The server does not allow downloads with Download managers like Orbit 3. Your firewall is not letting the downloader through If your network's blocking you, you're screwed, as only the admin on the network have access and privileges to change access and which programs to allow you through. If the servers don't support download managers, try downloading without one. If your firewall isn't allowing it, allow the program or the ports it uses to connect to the net. You can also try port forwarding if you can access the router.

How do I completely remove Orbit Downloader?
Q. I tried Orbit Downloader but found I didn't like it, I uninstalled it from my computer but occasionally when I download something my browser (Google Chrome) tells me that the download is starting in Orbit Downloader. As I don't have the program installed any more and I don't want to reinstall it, I cannot download the file. How do I get normal downloads again?

A. The prgoram is not uninstalled completely. My advise is to install Orbit Downloader again completely. Then uninstall it with this very good and free uninsaller Then do a scan with a registry cleaner. When you do not have one, you could install this very good and very safe to use Comodo Registry Cleaner Reboot. Now Orbit Downloader should have disappeared from your pc

A. Of course it's illegal. How is it different from downloading from Limewire? If it doesn't let you just download songs to your heart's content, which Rhapsody doesn't--they still want you to pay per song to get drm-free music--then it's illegal to get the songs without paying. And even with some sites that charge, such as the Russian sites that charge 9 cents or 20 cents a song, it's not totally clear those are legal in the US. Almost nothing that's free is going to be legal, except how sometimes on iTunes and other sites you'll see free downloads and some site called SpiralFrog that doesn't even work with iPods or Zunes--if I remember correctly--I think, is free.
